| How to send a Tweet
Your password is never stored. Tweets can be no longer than 140 characters. You can send a general tweet to everyone, reply to a specific person or direct a tweet to only one person. To send a general tweet to everyone: Type your tweet in the message box and click “send tweet” To reply to a specific person: Put “@USERNAME” at the beginning of your tweet to send a reply to a particular user. That user, your followers and that user’s followers will all be able to see the tweet. To send a direct a tweet to one person: Put “d USERNAME” at the beginning of your tweet to send a direct message to a specific user. Only that user will see the message. |
